Magnificent preening blue wing teal, carved from basswood. The feather details are wood burned in, then painted with acrylic. The walnut base is topped with driftwood and realistic fabric leaves. The "water" is adorned with painted duck weed. Cast pewter feet; glass eyes. This one of a kind carving is approximately 14" tall x 10" wide x 10" long.
