I found my craft in large part through my 87 year old great aunts love for crafting and the women in my family loving to sit around a table chatting. During an attempt to downsize her crafting supplies, my great-aunt Sheila told my sister and I she wanted to teach us each a craft she had learned over the years. My sister picked embroidery and I picked knitting. After learning some basic stitches, collecting a new set of needles, and learning to read patterns I dove into the world of hand dyed yarns, collecting yarns from everywhere; small local yarn stores and hand dyed, small batch indie dyers being clear favorites. Munger Trail Knits combines a love for high quality hats, mittens, scarves, and other knitwear in unique one of a kind colorways/patterns with even more love for sitting around my great aunts kitchen table with her along with my aunt, mom, and sister. We would love to make your next winter hat, mittens, or scarf!
