Hi! I’m Carlyn, the artist behind Ponderosa Sky Designs. Ten years ago, I never imagined I’d run a business based on art. While I’ve always been crafty, I never saw myself as an artist. Then in 2020 I moved from Denver to Minneapolis and began experimenting with polymer clay jewelry. The hands-on process of creating with clay truly resonated with me, sparking a passion I hadn’t expected.In 2021, I turned that passion into a business, and Ponderosa Sky Designs was born. I spent the next couple of years perfecting my polymer clay skills, but in 2023, I felt a pull I couldn’t ignore. I took my first stained glass class, and I was hooked immediately.Now, I have my own art studio, where I create vibrant stained glass pieces that capture light and color. I’ve found a deep connection to the art and I’m thrilled to share it with you. Whether it’s a small ornament or a entire window, I pour my heart into each design, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed making them.
