James found a love and appreciation for wood from helping his grandpa planting thousand of trees at their family farm in Minnesota. All the wood James uses is harvested by his grandpa using many trees his father planted as a young kid. James love using the leftover pieces of wood with unique knots and cracks. His goal is to make a quality piece that will span generations of use.
