I am a local artisan from Wyoming, MN and the owner of Tailored Timber. I have a passion for woodworking and I love accentuating the character of the wood and bringing out the uniqueness and natural beauty of each piece. I often marry the wood to a colored epoxy resin. By joining the epoxy to a too-small, or oddly shaped piece of wood, I am able to salvage an otherwise scrap piece into a beautifully crafted, functional item. I hand-mix all the colors to compliment each individual piece. Additionally i enjoy creating custom projects that are tailored to a customer’s individual taste and specific needs… live-edge or dimensional, large or small. From end tables to large dining tables, bar tops to mantles, wall clocks to pieces that fit a very unique space, I love creating that special heirloom piece that is treasured and used. My pieces are all hand-crafted and typically made with locally sourced wood from Stacy, MN or Houlton, WI. The wood species I most-commonly uses are Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Ash, Box Elder, Spanish Elm, or White Oak.
